Your answers and searches

Starlink vs Leo has no sign-up, no login and no contact form. The buy-or-wait tool and the site search run in your browser alone: neither requests a street address, ZIP, email or phone number, and what you choose or search for is never sent to us, stored, or passed to analytics. Search words stay out of the page address too; the search fetches a small index of our pages once and looks through it on your device.

Analytics

This site doesn't load any analytics yet. Before it does, this page will name the tool, say what it collects and explain how to opt out. The plan is Google Analytics 4 with these settings, which the site requires:

Your answers, the words you search for, the referral link and the addresses of other sites would never be sent.

Cookies and what your browser keeps

The site sets no cookies. Your browser keeps one small note for the site: when the welcome card about the referral link has been shown, local storage records that (oa-welcome-seen), so the card appears only once. It holds nothing about you. The site uses no session recording, heatmaps, ad trackers or fingerprinting.

Who delivers the pages

A hosting provider delivers the site, as with any website, and handles the technical details needed to send a page, such as your IP address and browser type; it may keep short-lived server logs. The provider isn't chosen yet, and this page will name it once the site is hosted. Fonts and images come from the site's own domain, and no page embeds third-party maps, videos or social buttons.

When you follow a link out

Links to Starlink, Amazon, the FCC and other sources take you to their sites, under their own privacy policies. Amazon's "Join the list" sign-up is Amazon's form on Amazon's site, and we never see what you enter there. The referral link, where it appears, takes you to starlink.com in a fresh tab; what you do there is between you and Starlink, and we never see your order, address or payment details.

Children

The site is meant for adults who pay for internet service. It isn't aimed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
