Where it stands · as of

As of Nov 3, 2026, Amazon hasn’t announced any US price for Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper): monthly plans Not announced, antennas Not announced. Any dollar figure you see for Leo service is someone’s estimate, not Amazon’s.

Every Amazon Leo price line, checked

These are the costs a household would need to know. Amazon has published none of them.

Amazon’s US site footer says the antennas can’t be offered for sale or lease until they get FCC authorization, so no price can appear before that.

The press noticed the same gap in October:

“Amazon Leo also has yet to reveal pricing and how it will market the service.”

What is known about cost

A 2023 build-cost goal, not a price

The only dollar figure Amazon has put on a Leo antenna is what it hoped one would cost to make. On Mar 14, 2023, describing the 11-inch standard design that became Leo Pro, it wrote:

“Amazon expects to produce these terminals for less than $400 each.”

Amazonaboutamazon.comAnnouncedchecked

The same post recalled an older goal, which Amazon says it met:

“…design a customer terminal that costs less than $500 to build. Project Kuiper engineers hit that milestone in 2020…”

For the small 7-inch design, now Leo Nano, Amazon gave no cost figure at all (Not announced checked ), only a promise about who it is for:

“This design will connect residential customers who need an even lower-cost model…”

Claims without numbers

Since then, Amazon has said Leo will be good value, without a single figure behind it:

“Second, this performance will come at a lower cost than alternatives.”

“Amazon Leo’s service promises to be ‘groundbreaking,’ both in quality of service and affordability for consumers.”

Prime and other bundles: reported, not announced

Amazon has announced no bundle with Prime or anything else: Not announced checked . What exists is a remark reported by the press in October, an intention rather than an offer:

“Weber said Amazon would try to win consumers over by combining its broadband service with other Amazon subscriptions like Amazon Prime, gear like Eero routers, and/or other services like Fire TV and Ring.”

And an older analyst’s guess, which nothing Amazon has published supports:

“Amazon could potentially bundle satellite-based internet service as part of Prime membership…”

So is Amazon Leo “included with Prime”, or “free with Prime”? Not as of Nov 3, 2026. Both are readers’ hopes: Amazon has announced no Prime offer for Leo (Not announced), and the October remark is a reported intention, not an offer with a price, terms or eligibility.

The only published plans built on Leo: Australia’s nbn

One company has published plan details for a home service that will run on Amazon Leo: nbn, Australia’s national wholesale broadband network. They are wholesale tiers that Australian internet providers resell, not retail prices, and not US plans.

Shown for one reason: it is the first published plan structure for a Leo-powered home service. Never read it as a US price or a US date.

“Eligible customers will be able to choose from an introductory range of nbn LEO plans, which offer uncapped data*, and may reach wholesale speeds of up to 50/10 Mbps and up to100/20 Mbps**.”

Until Amazon publishes prices, the only low-orbit service a US household can price out is Starlink. Your address decides its Residential price, so each Residential figure below is a level Starlink’s address-free price list showed on the date given, not your price, and there is no way to tell ahead of time which level a home will land on; starlink.com shows yours after you enter your address. Here are both networks on the same lines, then Starlink’s full list.

Why the levels differ: Starlink’s help center says prices, availability and surcharges can shift with network capacity and regional demand. In a report dated Oct 30, 2026, RV Mobile Internet said Starlink is testing Residential prices that move with local demand in select US markets, up to about 20% either way Reported checked . So the price at your address can be higher or lower than every level listed here.

Stores sell Starlink kits too. Starlink’s help center lists 16 US retailers, among them Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot and Sam's Club (checked Nov 3, 2026). Store prices can differ from starlink.com’s, and store-bought kits don’t earn Starlink’s referral reward: the help center counts only sign-ups made on starlink.com, never kits from retailers or resellers, or transferred accounts.

Amazon Leo pricing: what readers ask

How much will Amazon Leo cost per month?

Amazon hasn’t said (Not announced checked ). No plan, tier or monthly price has been published for the US or any other country.

Is Amazon Leo included with Prime, or free with Prime?

No such offer exists: Not announced checked . An Amazon Leo vice president was reported in October as saying Leo could be paired with Prime, eero, Fire TV or Ring (reported, quoted above), but that is an intention, not an offer: no bundle, price or eligibility has been announced.

Is there an Amazon Leo code or referral program?

No. As of Nov 3, 2026, Amazon has announced no Amazon Leo code, referral program or special price for US homes, and it sells no Leo home service here yet (Not announced). Its only sign-up for households is “Join the list”, for announcements and updates. If Amazon starts a referral program for Leo and this site joins it, How we make money will say so first.

How much does the Amazon Leo Nano cost?

Amazon hasn’t set antenna prices. Leo Nano: Not announced checked . Leo Pro: Not announced. Leo Ultra: Not announced. Sizes and rated speeds are on the terminals page.

Does Amazon Leo have data caps or a contract?

Neither is announced. Data caps and priority: Not announced checked . Contract, trial and returns: Not announced checked .

Why do some websites list an Amazon Leo price?

They are guessing. Amazon’s US site has no price, plan or order page, and its footer says the antennas can’t be sold or leased until they get FCC authorization. The only cost figure Amazon has given is the build-cost goal from Mar 14, 2023 above, which is not a price.

How these facts were checked

Amazon Leo: we read leo.amazon.com (its home and technology pages, footer and sitemap), Amazon’s newsroom, FAQ, shareholder letter and earnings materials on Nov 3, 2026, and the FCC order quoting Amazon on Oct 25, 2026, looking for any plan, price, fee or term; none exists, so every Leo price line shows “Not announced”. We never estimate one. Starlink: every price, fee and term comes from Starlink’s own order data, help center and terms, as recorded in our shared Starlink facts file. Because each address gets its own Residential price, we re-read its address-free price list and show each level with the date we saw it, latest first (last read Nov 3, 2026); press figures are labeled “Reported” with their date. Read the editorial policy.

FCC orders and Census data files are fixed public records whose text can't change, so the "Facts checked" date leaves them out. We read them on Oct 25, 2026; each one is listed at the foot of the page.
