What Amazon announced
Amazon's mission page, updated on Oct 28, 2026, puts LV-01 on a ULA Vulcan VC6L from SLC-41, Cape Canaveral, carrying 40 satellites. In Amazon's words:
“with liftoff targeted for Friday, November 13, 2026, pending range approval”

Amazon says it will confirm the exact launch time closer to the mission. Some third-party launch schedules still showed an earlier date; they predate Amazon's update. LV-01 would be the first Amazon Leo launch since Jul 2, 2026, and the first on Vulcan, which was put on hold after a booster problem on a Space Force launch on Feb 12, 2026 Reported. When we last read ULA's mission list, on Nov 3, 2026, it showed no Vulcan flight since.
What isn't known yet
- The exact launch time. Amazon says it will confirm it closer to the mission.
- Range approval. Amazon's date is marked "pending range approval", so it isn't final.
- Whether the date holds. Launch dates often slip, and Vulcan had not flown again after its booster problem when we last checked (above).
- A US service date, price or coverage area. Amazon hasn't announced any of them; this launch doesn't change that.
When LV-01 flies, or its date moves, the tracker logs it with its source and date. Our Oct 25, 2026 post on the launch pause has the background, with a dated update.

How these facts were checked
We read every source listed below on the date shown. This post was drafted with AI assistance from those sources, and each number, date and quote was checked against them. It is dated: if the story moves on, we add a dated update instead of quietly rewriting it. Read the editorial policy.
